| May 8, 2008 Jeremy Grady Seventh at Dubuque; Readies for 'Diamond Nationals' (STORY CITY, IOWA) The rain-outs keep adding up for Jeremy Grady and Team 43, as Mother Nature once again took wins at the Farley (IA) Speedway on May 2 and the Freeport (IL) Raceway Park on May 3. However, the team was able to sling some dirt last weekend, as they invaded the Dubuque Speedway in Dubuque, Iowa on Sunday, May 4 for the track's 'Spring Championship' event. Jeremy, in his first visit to the Dubuque oval, ran third in his heat race to make the redraw. After drawing a nine, the Story City, Iowa native rolled off from the inside of the fifth row for the 35-lap feature event. The "Outlaw" ran competitively early before fading back to the fifteenth spot. As the race wore on, Jeremy seemed to find his groove and started advancing back up through the field. At the end of 35 green flag racing laps, the #43 entry was credited with a solid seventh place performance. Team 43 is currently readying their equipment for one of the biggest races of their season. The 2nd Annual 'SuperClean Diamond Nationals' will take place this upcoming weekend at the pristine Lucas Oil Speedway in Wheatland, Missouri. The Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series and the O'Reilly MLRA Series will co-sanction the mega-event, which boasts a $40,000 top prize. An open practice session will take place tonight, May 8 prior to qualifying on Friday evening, May 9. A complete lineup of heat races, consolation events, and the 100-lap 'SuperClean Diamond Nationals' will then headline the program on Saturday, May 10. The cameras of the SPEED Channel will be on hand to tape the exciting action for broadcast later in the year.
