| May 15, 2008 Jeremy Grady Competes at Wheatland; Preps for Big Tripleheader Weekend! (STORY CITY, IOWA) Jeremy Grady and the #43 Dirt Late Model team invaded the state-of-the-art Lucas Oil Speedway in Wheatland, Missouri last weekend for the 2nd Annual 'SuperClean Diamond Nationals.' The Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series sanctioned the mega-event and a $40,000 top prize was up for grabs. The cameras of the SPEED Channel were on hand throughout the extended Mothers Day weekend to tape all of the dirt-slinging action for broadcast later in the year. Jeremy timed in eleventh fastest in his group during Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series qualifying on Friday night, May 9. After Mother Nature took the win on Saturday, the remainder of the program was pushed back until Sunday afternoon, May 11. Unfortunately, Jeremy could not make his way into the 100-lap main event after finishing tenth in his heat race and thirteenth in his B-Main. With one-lane track conditions prevailing on Sunday afternoon, it was more than difficult for anyone to pass. You can view complete results online at www.lucasdirt.com. Following Wheatland, the #43 team will now turn their focus to a trio of high-profile races in Iowa and Illinois this weekend. The Farley Speedway in Farley, Iowa will kick things off on Friday night, May 16, as the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series will sanction a $10,000 to win show. A similar event will then be held on Saturday evening, May 17 at the LaSalle Speedway in LaSalle, Illinois. The tripleheader weekend will conclude on Sunday at the Lincoln Speedway in Lincoln, Illinois. The World of Outlaws Late Model Series will be the sanction of choice on Sunday, as a $7,000 top prize will be up for grabs.
